Present Continuous

Se utiliza para acciones que están ocurriendo en este preciso momento o planes futuros cercanos.

En este caso utilizamos el verbo auxiliar "to be" (am/is/are) seguido del verbo principal con la terminación -ing.

Subject + to be (am/is/are) + Verb-ing + Complement

Subject + to be (am/is/are) + not + Verb-ing + Complement

to be (Am/Is/Are) + Subject + Verb-ing + Complement?

1st Person (Affirmative)

I am studying English now.

3rd Person (Affirmative)

He is studying English now.

Negative

They are not (aren't) studying English.

Interrogative

Are you studying English?

Answer (+)

Yes, I am.

Answer (-)

No, I am not.
