Se utiliza para describir estados, ubicaciones, nombres y profesiones.
El verbo "to be" es el más fundamental en inglés y significa ser o estar. A diferencia de otros verbos, tiene sus propias formas y no usa auxiliares como "do/does".

Recuerda las contracciones comunes: I'm, You're, He's, She's, It's, We're, They're. En negativo puedes usar isn't y aren't.
