El pasado del verbo "to be" se utiliza para describir estados, sentimientos o ubicaciones que ocurrieron en el pasado. Al igual que en presente, no utiliza el auxiliar 'did'.
Para los sujetos I, He, She, It usamos was y para You, We, They usamos were.
Subject + to be (was/were) + ComplementSubject + to be (was/were) + not + Complementto be (Was/Were) + Subject + Complement?I was at school yesterday.
It was a rainy day.
We were very busy.
He wasn't (was not) at the party.
You weren't (were not) late.
Were they happy with the news?
Usamos was para los sujetos I, He, She, It. Usamos were para los sujetos You, We, They.
I am tired now.
I was tired last night.
